Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Operations and Traffic Affairs, Major General Yousef Al Khadda, issued two regulatory decisions regarding the validity period of a driver’s license for expatriates, and the period of technical inspection for new private vehicles (cars and bicycles).

Deputy Director of the Traffic Public Relations Department, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Bu Hassan, explained that the first decision stipulated extending the validity of the driving license for expatriates to three years instead of one year, after obtaining or renewing it in accordance with the legal conditions, explaining that the use of this license is limited to applying “My ID” without the need to print it.
