The United States Ambassador to Kuwait, Karen Sasahara, praised the commitment of the workers at the expatriate labor shelter in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area to improve the accommodation and care conditions for the center’s female residents, expressing her thanks for their continued efforts to support them. This came during a field visit by the Ambassador to the center affiliated with the Public Authority for Manpower, where she was received by the Acting Deputy Director General for Workforce Protection, Dr. Fahd Al-Murad.
During the visit, which aimed to review the mechanism for receiving expatriate workers and the role of government agencies in the center, in addition to the various services provided to female inmates, including health care, psychological support and legal assistance, Sasahara was briefed on the procedures followed in the center for care and rehabilitation, praising the efforts made to provide social and psychological protection.
