Iraqi Woman Arrested in Kuwait for Practicing Witchcraft and Fraud

An Iraqi woman has been arrested in Kuwait's Adan area for engaging in fraudulent activities involving magic, witchcraft, and deception. According to the Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Criminal Investigation – Financial Crimes Division, received credible information that the woman, identified as “I.K.,” was claiming the ability to predict the unseen and solve people's personal, family, and financial problems using sorcery in exchange for money.

Upon verifying the information, authorities obtained legal permission and set up a controlled operation, leading to her arrest. During the operation, she was caught red-handed with various items used in witchcraft, including talismans, herbs, oils, wrapped amulets, handwritten spells, and locks.

She has been referred to the competent authorities for further legal action.

The Ministry of Interior has warned the public against falling for such fraudulent and illegal practices and encourages citizens to report any similar incidents through official channels. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to protecting society from deception and exploitation.
