END PLAN TO EXPEL OVER 60 EXPATS – ABOLISH SPONSORSHIP SYSTEM

Kuwait City : The Kuwait Society for Human Rights (KSHR) in its recent statement has come forward against the government's decision to stop the renewal of work permits of emigrants whore are of age 60 and possessing educational qualification of high school level or lower.


The society has called for the reconsideration of the latest notification. It has reiterated the importance of emigrants and the hardships that they would have to face if the new directives were to become operational. They sought the government to see the humanitarian aspects of this before concluding the matter.
