KUWAIT'S NEW TRAVEL POLICY, 8,541 PASSENGERS ON FIRST DAY

Kuwait City: The Civil Aviation General Administration said the procedures for the first day of the new travel policy, which came into effect from yesterday as per the Cabinet decision, were successful.


Civil Aviation said that everything was done smoothly by the Customs General Administration and the airlines at the airport under the leadership of the Ministries of Health and Home Affairs in collaboration with the concerned government agencies. On the first day, 88 flights were in service.

42 flights departed from Kuwait International Airport while 46 flights arrived. A total of 8,541 people traveled. While 5,023 people traveled from Kuwait to various destinations, 3,518 arrived in the country.
