INDIA-KUWAIT CULTURAL FESTIVAL ENTER IT'S EIGHTH DAY

Kuwait City: The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) and the Indian Embassy are organizing an art exhibition at the Kuwait Arts Association Hall for the eighth day. 


The exhibition, titled 'Scenes of a Timeless India' by renowned painter Joyce Sibi, runs until the 30th of this month. Joyce Sibi is the wife of Sibi George, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait. Her exhibitions in various countries have attracted a lot of attention. 

The exhibition is organized in conjunction with the Cultural Festival, which celebrates the strong cultural ties between India and Kuwait. There will also be daily art shows by artists from Indian cultural organizations. Today, the eighth day of the cultural festival, Carnatic music and classical fusion dance will be performed. There is also a live henna show for visitors. 

The cultural festival coincides with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Kuwait and the 75th anniversary of India's independence. The exhibition runs from September 20 to 30 from 5pm to 9pm at the Kuwait Arts Association Hall in Haveli and is open to all who have completed vaccination.
