HOUTHI DRONES TARGETS AIRPORT IN SAUDI ARABIA

Riyadh: Yemen's Houthi militant group has carried out airstrikes targeting the Abha airport in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi air force shot down two drones before attacking the airport. Four people were injured when the wreckage of a drone crashed. No one was seriously injured.


According to reports released by the official television channel, the wreckage of the drones crashed into the windows of the airport by the Saudi army. Four employees were injured. The airport was temporarily closed following the attack, but air traffic was later restored, officials said. 

Two warplanes were shot down by Saudi warplanes in the Yemeni Saada Governorate shortly after the attack on Abha airport. The Arab League has accused the Houthis of committing war crimes by attacking civilian airports in the country, according to an official television channel.
