Kuwait City: Authorities say 4,013 foreigners over the age of 60 have left the country in the past six months without qualifying for undergraduate education. Many left the country after the decision of the Public Authority came into force on January 1, 2021. Meanwhile, the local newspaper reported, citing human resources officials, that no new instructions had been received in this regard and that the current ban remained in place. The Fatwa Committee had yesterday ruled that the ban imposed by the Public Authority for Manpower on renewing the residence permit of high school educated people above the age of 60 would not be legal.
