BREAST CANCER ON THE RISE IN KUWAITI WOMEN

Kuwait City:  Breast cancer is on the rise among women in Kuwait. It is estimated that 39.8% of women over the age of 40 are diagnosed with breast cancer.


The study was conducted by the Ministry of Health's National Breast Cancer Screening Program. The study included 14,773 women who showed no symptoms.

The presence of the tumor was detected in 551 women out of 4314. There are 233 cases of malignant tumors. There are 57 cases of high risk and 261 cases of no problem.
