SECOND SUICIDE ATTEMPT ON JABIR BRIDGE IN PAST 24 HOURS

Kuwait City:  An Indian man jumped into the sea from the Sheikh Jaber Bridge this morning, the second suicide attempt on the Jaber Bridge in the past 24 hours. 


He was driving himself and jumped into the sea after stopping at the bridge, authorities said, adding that he was 36 years old and was in good health. Interior Ministry Lt. Gen. Faisal al-Nawaf said he had been referred to a police station to take legal action against him and had been ordered deported from the country.  

Security forces with the help of firefighters and ambulances rescued an Egyptian man who tried to commit suicide by jumping into the sea from the top of the Jaber Bridge last night. This is the second suicide attempt in the last 24 hours.
