Kuwait City: The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to expedite the deportation of passportless residency violators and those with reports of absconding to their home countries. The Home Ministry has approached the embassies of various countries in Kuwait in this regard. This is in order to get their travel documents to deport the offenders as soon as possible.

Most embassies take up to 10 days to provide deportation documents. Authorities are trying to avoid crowds at the deportation prison, given the current state of health.

According to sources, the Indian embassy said it would take more than seven days to issue the required travel documents to its illegal citizens. Sources said the sponsors, who reported the workers absconding, had to submit their passports to the deportation administration to repatriate the violators.
