AUTHORITIES SEIZE 11 FISHING BOATS IN OMAN

Muscat: Authorities seize 11 fishing boats in Oman. The inspection was carried out by a team from the Directorate General of Fisheries Agriculture and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate. 


Authorities found that they were fishing beyond the legal limits for fishing in the country. Four expatriates on a fishing boat were taken into custody. Authorities said they have been handed over to the concerned authorities to take further action against them.
