POULTRY IMPORTS BANNED FROM GHANA AND CZECH REPUBLIC

Kuwait City: The importation of all kinds of live birds, eggs and one day old chicks from Oughana and the Czech Republic has been temporarily banned. The decision was taken by the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources in the wake of the spread of H5N1 in these countries.


Spokesperson for the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, who spoke on behalf of the Public Authority for Animal Health and Fisheries Resources, as to the manner in which all goods are inspected and complied with in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and the regulations and regulations issued by the Animal Health Department of the Authority. Meanwhile, the ban on imports from the UK has been lifted.
