OPEN AREAS OF KUWAIT CITY ARE ABOUT TO BE CONVERTED INTO PARKING LOTS

Kuwait City: Public Utilities Management Company has sought permission to convert vacant open spaces into car parking spaces. The application states that the best parking gloves can be built in Kuwait City to accommodate more cars. 


The company has sent a letter to the Director General of the Kuwait Municipality expressing its willingness to accept the land. The letter also states that vacancies can be granted on request. The move comes in the wake of a shortage of parking spaces in the city. 

The company said the municipality has been instructed to find vacancies. The company said it had also asked the municipality to set a date for a meeting on the issue.
