TWO EXPATRIATES DIE IN KUWAIT AFTER CONSUMING FAKE LIQUOR

Kuwait City: Two Filipino women have died in Kuwait after drinking suspected Russian vodka. Five people got drunk together. Of these, two men survived the accident and one was in critical condition, sources said.


The group got drunk on Thursday evening. The two men who survived the accident are now in the custody of Hawalli police. The Philippine embassy responded that no reports had been received so far on the matter. 

Kuwait is a country where alcohol is banned. A foreign national who uses or sells alcohol is sent to jail and then deported. Police have recently raided and arrested several counterfeit liquor outlets and taken several people into custody.
