KUWAIT ECONOMY IS EXPECTED TO GROW BY 4.3 PER CENT IN 2021-22 FINANCIAL YEAR

Kuwait City: Kuwait's economy is expected to grow by 0.9 percent in 2021 and 4.3 percent in 2022, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). 


The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) reports that GDP growth will increase to 2.5 percent in 2021 and 4.2 percent in 2022, while inflation is expected to increase to 2.8 percent in 2021 and 2.4 percent in 2022. 

According to the report, the unemployment rate in the Middle East and the Middle East will rise to 10.7 percent by 2020, 11.6 percent in the Middle East and 8.7 percent in the Middle East.
