KUWAIT AND EIGHT OTHER COUNTRIES IMPOSED CURFEW ON SUDANESE NATIONALS

Kuwait City: Residency Affairs in all six governorates have received verbal instructions to suspend all transactions with Sudanese nationals. Kuwait has banned Sudanese nationals from entering the country until further notice. Currently, Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, Pakistani, Iranian, Afghan and Yemeni nationals are barred from entering Kuwait without security permits.

According to top security sources, Sudan's internal problems are to blame. All transactions, including visitor visas, family, tourism and commercial transactions, have been frozen. However, officials said the decision would not apply to Sudanese who currently reside in Kuwait. They will have the right to return to the country and renew their residency.
