Kuwaitis and expats are being urged to get vaccinated

KUWAIT CITY  –
Kuwait's concerned government bodies are monitoring the latest developments of the new Coronavirus variant of Omicron and are prepared to fight the variant, which is rapidly spreading around the world, said Tareq Al-Mezrem, Chairman of the Government Communication Center and Government Spokesman, on Sunday.

Speaking to KUNA after the anti-Covid-19 ministerial committee meeting, which was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace, Al-Mezrem stated that government agencies are always on high alert for looming virus-bearing developments.
