RIYADH CHAMBER WARNS AGAINST OPERATING IN THE ADVERTISING SECTOR WITHOUT LICENSE

Riyadh: A warning to individuals who work in the advertising industry in the country without a license, as well as those who collaborate with such institutions. The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce warned foreigners and visitors not to participate in advertising.


Do not invite such advertisers to gatherings for the purpose of promoting various items, etc. The chamber also asked that they not be published. Non-Saudi advertisers' violations are being tracked on social media networks. Violations will result in disciplinary action.

Advertisers must be in possession of commercial documentation or legal licenses. Benami activity is defined as foreigners engaged in commercial activities without a license. Such behavior is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine.
