VISION CORRECTION SURGERIES, KUWAIT RANKS FIRST IN GULF

Kuwait City:  Kuwait ranks first in the Gulf and second in the Arab world in the number of vision correction surgeries, according to Dr. Khalid Al Sabati informed. He pointed out that Kuwait has witnessed a qualitative leap in retinal surgery. 


Kuwait uses the latest technologies to serve patients, including the world's newest medical device that recently arrived to perform vision correction operations. This device enables doctors to correct shortsightedness compared to previous methods. This advanced technology can be used to correct farsightedness up to six degrees. The operation is performed under local anesthesia. He added that the surgery will not take more than four minutes.
