116 RESIDENCY VIOLATORS ARRESTED IN KUWAIT IN ONE WEEK

Kuwait City:  Strict inspections were conducted in all six governorates under the leadership of the Public Security Department. The inspection campaign was overseen by Major General Abdullah Al-Rajib, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs of the Ministry of Interior. 703 check points were established and 16 people included in the wanted list were arrested. 


Through regular and mobile security patrols and check posts, 119 people were arrested for violating residence and labor rules and absentee cases were registered against 49 expatriates. Public security officers arrested 273 people for not having identification, and reported 55 drug charges. These were referred to the General Department. And 761 security assistance was provided in addition to security presence in 869 different reports.
