Extreme heat and cold increase heart failure-related deaths in Kuwait

Kuwait City, Jan 25: Extreme heat and cold increase the risk of death from heart failure, study finds. The study was conducted by Dr. Barak Al Ahmed, a researcher in Kuwait with funding from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Barak Al-Ahmed conducted the study on the relationship between extreme and cold weather in different regions of the world and the increase in the number of deaths in people with heart diseases.

The study was published in the prestigious journal Circulation published by the American Heart Association. The study showed that the number of deaths due to heart failure compared to other heart diseases was associated with temperature. Dr. Barak Al-Ahmed's study also explains that more deaths are reported on days with the highest or lowest temperatures.
