Kuwait plans new method to prevent driving license fraud

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal al-Khalid's decision to approve driver's licenses and vehicle registration through the "My Identity" application is seen as a major step towards the detection and prevention of fraud, according to the head of the Kuwait Society of Traffic Safety, Dr. Bader Al-Matar. 

He noted that the surge in the issuing of driving licenses in Kuwait has a detrimental effect on the country's overall traffic situation, as evidenced by official statistics. Al-Matar confirmed in a press statement that Al-Khaled's decision contributes to limiting the rise in the number of driving licenses.
