The spokesman for DGCA, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, has verified that negotiations are underway with three additional airline companies to commence operations at Kuwait International Airport. He revealed that there are 46 companies functioning at the airport. Al-Rajhi stated that the number of airlines operating at the airport during the upcoming summer season will increase to 48, and emphasized that an agreement with the new companies is likely to be finalized in the near future.
Kuwait International Airport is experiencing a consistent rise in passenger volume, with the DGCA projecting a total of 15.5 million passengers traveling to and from the airport by 2023. Furthermore, it is anticipated that this figure will continue to grow throughout the present year.
