The launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been prohibited in Kuwait just days prior to its worldwide release scheduled for October 25, as reported by IGN. While the game will be accessible globally on platforms such as PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, it has not received approval from Kuwaiti authorities. Although an official explanation for the ban has not been provided, it is speculated that the game's narrative, which is set against the backdrop of the Gulf War, may have raised concerns.
A representative from Activision expressed to IGN that the company remains "hopeful" for a reconsideration by Kuwaiti authorities. "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has not been authorized for release in Kuwait," he stated. "Currently, the title will not be available in the region. Consequently, all preorders in Kuwait will be canceled and refunded to the original point of purchase."
