Saudi Arabia Executes Citizen for Terror-Related Offences, Reaffirms Zero Tolerance Towards Extremism

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has carried out the execution of a Saudi citizen convicted of serious terrorism-related activities, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Interior. The individual, identified as Ali bin Abdullah bin Abdulkarim Al Rabah, faced charges including joining a terrorist organization, attacking security forces by opening fire, harboring individuals involved in terrorism, and illegally possessing and using weapons that threatened the Kingdom's internal stability.

Authorities confirmed that Al Rabah’s case went through all stages of the judicial process. His appeal was dismissed by the Supreme Court, and the final ruling was upheld, leading to the execution being implemented. The Ministry emphasized that the actions taken reflect the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to upholding justice, ensuring national security, and strictly enforcing the provisions of Islamic law (Sharia) against anyone who endangers the safety and rights of others.

In its statement, the Ministry of Interior also issued a stern warning to those who may consider engaging in similar activities. It reiterated that anyone found guilty of disrupting public order, threatening internal security, or violating the laws of the country will face severe consequences under Islamic law.

This execution underscores Saudi Arabia’s unwavering approach towards combating terrorism and preserving peace within its borders. The government continues to stress its zero-tolerance stance against extremist threats.
