Kuwait Arrests 4 Illegal Residents in Major Drug Bust

The General Department for Combating Narcotics in Kuwait has arrested four individuals classified as "Bedoon" (illegal residents) for possession of various narcotic and psychotropic substances. The arrests were part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing security operations targeting drug dealers and traffickers.

According to the Ministry, the operation led to the seizure of:

  • 15,000 Lyrica capsules

  • 100 grams of cocaine

  • 500 grams of a chemical substance

  • 250 grams of hashish

  • 80 psychotropic pills

  • A sensitive scale used for weighing drugs

  • KD 10,590 in cash, suspected to be drug trafficking proceeds

The Ministry confirmed that legal procedures had been initiated, and the suspects were referred to the relevant authorities. It emphasized the continuation of intensive campaigns to combat drug trafficking and ensure the safety and security of society.
