Indian Textiles Minister Welcomes Kuwaiti Investments

Kuwait City : On Wednesday, Indian Textiles Minister Smriti Irani welcomed Kuwaiti investments for textiles sector. In a statement, Jassim Al-Najim, Kuwait Ambassador to India said that they have discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and that India welcomes Kuwaiti investments in various fields, especially in the textiles industry. The Ambassador said Indian-Kuwaiti relations are witnessing a remarkable development at all levels through the efforts made by the leadership of both countries to push relations towards further progress and development. He even stressed that Kuwaiti petrochemical companies play an important role in providing raw materials for the Indian textile industry at fair international prices with high quality services for the Indian polyester and textile industry over the past two decades. Al-Najim added that they also established a long-term partnership to support small and medium industries by providing primary raw materials, especially glycol.
