PERMISSION TO CONVERT ENTRY VISAS INTO WORK VISAS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Kuwait makes significant move to address labor shortage as recruitment visas are suspended. The local newspaper reported that the General Secretariat of the Ministry had given permission to convert the entry visas into work permits. The General Secretariat has written to the Director General of the Manpower Authority in this regard.


Applicants for entry visas were asked to consider this without leaving the country. The ministerial committee to deal with Covid has taken action after considering the application.
