VICE PRESIDENT OF UAE GOES ON A CYCLING TOUR AT EXPO 2020 DUBAI

Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, cycled through the expo venues as the world awaits Expo 2020 in Dubai starting next month. 


The Dubai Media Office released the pictures of the bicycle ride yesterday. Images of Sheikh Mohammed riding a bicycle with a small group on the expo venue went viral on social media. 

Sheikh Mohammed said that Expo 2020 will be an amazing experience. He had earlier arrived at the venues on September 1 to assess the preparations. He also marked the beginning of a month's countdown. He said infrastructure was complete and Dubai was ready for the expo. 

He expressed hope that the expo could be held in the safest way and congratulated all those who worked hard to bring covid under control in the UAE. 190 countries are participating in Expo 2020, which starts on October 1. About 25 million visitors are expected from different countries during this period. The expo, which is scheduled to take place in 2020, has been postponed to October this year due to the Kovid situation. Closing on March 31, 2022.
