Kuwait City: "Kuwait is a key player in preserving, promoting and strengthening the culture of peace in the world," Tariq al-Sheikh said. He added that Kuwait has not spared any effort in making decisions, especially on issues in the Arab region, in maintaining international peace and security, and that Kuwait has reaped the benefits of its efforts to resolve the Gulf crisis three years later. As a mediator to end the Gulf crisis. In this regard, he referred to Kuwait's leading efforts for non-permanent membership of Kuwait in the United Nations Security Council, during which he worked to promote a culture of peace by preparing and proposing a number of resolutions calling for a ceasefire in Syria.
