MAN DIES AFTER BEING SWEPT AWAY IN FLASH FLOODS IN UAE

UAE: A 65-year-old Emirati man has died after getting swept away by flash floods in Fujairah over the weekend. 


Fujairah Police said the man was endeavoring to cross Wadi Al Sidr by foot on Friday evening, when he was moved by the water. 

The General Command of the Fujairah Police asked local area individuals to stay wary and keep away from the channels during precipitation. 

The National Center of Meteorology on Saturday put out an alarm, encouraging inhabitants to play it safe if there should arise an occurrence of weighty downpours in some Eastern regions. 

Inhabitants have additionally been told to stay away from regions that might be defenseless to streak floods.
