MAJOR ROADS IN SHARJAH WILL BE CLOSED FOR TWO WEEKS

Sharjah: Authorities have announced that Al Qasba Bridge Road and Al Khan Corniche Road will be partially closed for two weeks beginning Sunday.

The Sharjah Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA), in collaboration with the Sharjah Police Department, stated that the road closures are part of the RTA's goal to improve, expand, and upgrade the emirate's roads.

The road maintenance and expansion work will be done in two stages. The first phase will be carried out in the direction of Sharjah Downtown, Rolla, and Ajman.

Work will begin on Sunday from midnight to 5 a.m. and will end on November 28. The opposite direction, towards Dubai, will be open for traffic.
