The Interior Ministry is considering a security plan for the New Year

Kuwait : Lt Gen Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, presided over a meeting with field commanders yesterday to discuss security preparations for the New Year holiday.

Lt Gen Sheikh Faisal emphasised the importance of vigilance and readiness, as well as immediate cooperation among concerned field sectors, in order to maintain security control and "confront any alien behaviour to society."
He also examined the plans for fixed and mobile road patrols, as well as the police presence in gathering areas, camps, and chalets.

In addition, Lt Gen Sheikh Faisal stated that health protocols must be followed while securing all governorates in order to ensure security and safety.He stated that people must protect the environment and requested that increased campaigns against environmental law violators be launched.
