KUWAIT: As new Cabinet decisions on the application of home quarantine for visitors to the country went into effect, Kuwait International Airport received 65 incoming flights carrying approximately 10,000 passengers, according to Al-Qabas sources, while 99 flights departed to various destinations amid strict health measures.

The travel movement at Kuwait International Airport was normal and smooth, with no operational obstacles to the implementation of Cabinet decisions regarding arrivals, as the importance of proving immunisation upon arrival to the country was emphasised.

The travel destinations arriving in the country varied, as the airport received flights from India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, London, Turkey, and Paris, with no changes or cancellations to the flight schedules.

According to sources, the procedures for entering the country went smoothly, and there were no issues despite the increased health awareness among the population.
