KUWAITIS IN RUSSIA ARE URGED TO CARRY CASH AND ID PROOFS

Kuwait City: According to the Kuwaiti Embassy in Russia, numerous foreign airlines have suspended flights to and from Russia, as have domestic flights and various Russian airports. The embassy stated in a press release that daily ATM withdrawals had been temporarily restricted. Kuwaiti citizens in Russia are urged to keep some cash on hand in case of an emergency, as credit cards issued by foreign banks may be restricted.
