GOLDEN VISA WILL BE WITHDRAWN AFTER MORE THAN SIX MONTHS OVERSEAS

Abu Dhabi: The Golden Visa will be revoked after more than six months abroad, except in certain circumstances, officials said. The condition for work and residence visas also applies.


However, the Federal Authority for Identity Citizenship, Customs and Port Security officials said the exemption would apply to those in certain areas, depending on the circumstances.

From May 2019, Golden Visas will be issued for those who have skills in various fields with a tenure of 5.10 years. Visas can also be renewed without a local sponsor.
