HEAVY-RAIN DRENCHED LOW-LYING AREAS OF EMIRATES

Dubai: Low-lying areas in the United Arab Emirates were inundated throughout the summer owing to thunder and heavy rain in various emirates. Large water bodies formed, especially on roadways, at Khorfaqan, Fujairah Wadi Saham, and Ras Al Khaimah Wadi Mamduh. There were also several flooded homes.


Traffic was impacted by roads that were under Khorfakan. Small vehicles were partially buried in the flooded parking lot. Additionally, there was a lot of rain in Umm Al Khwain Fallaj Al Mualla, Sharjah Deid, and Dubai Jabal Ali. The evening continues with widespread light rain.

Since Tuesday, there has been a lot of rain in the emirates of Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah. In the country, the sky is typically overcast. There may be wind and rain today, according to the National Meteorological Center. 

Tuesday saw rain fall in the regions of Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Ain. The rain that began early yesterday morning has occasionally gotten heavier. The valleys are also flooded as a result of the mountains' increased water flow.
