Saudi Arabia confirms its plan to bid to host 2034 world cup

Saudi Arabia has declared its intention to bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup, following FIFA's invitation to Asian and Oceania countries to submit bids. This announcement comes shortly after FIFA's announcement of Morocco, Spain, and Portugal as the hosts of the 2030 tournament, which will feature Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay in the inaugural matches to commemorate the centennial of the tournament.
