Indian will be extradited to Oman to face trial in murder case

An Indian national will be extradited to Oman to stand trial for the alleged murder of an Omani family that included three small children. The extradition ruling by the Indian government was upheld by the Delhi High Court, which is a significant development in the victims' quest for justice.


The accused, Majibullah Mohammad Haneef, had been wanted by Oman. An Omani national, his spouse, and their three small children were discovered dead in their residence on July 31, 2019.
