UAE Ranked Second Safest Country in the World; Qatar and Oman in Top Five

Dubai: The UAE has been ranked as the second safest country in the world, according to Numbeo's Safety Index 2025. Andorra secured the top spot with a score of 84.7, while the UAE followed closely with a score of 84.5. Qatar ranked third, and Taiwan took the fourth position.

The ranking highlights the dominance of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, with five Gulf nations making it into the top 20. Oman secured the fifth spot, Saudi Arabia ranked 14th, and Bahrain took 16th place.

Additionally, the UAE was ranked as the country with the second lowest crime rate in the world, as per Numbeo’s 2025 Crime Index.
