Eid al-Adha Four-Day Holiday Announced for Public Sector Employees in UAE

Dubai: The UAE government has declared a four-day holiday for public sector employees in observance of Eid al-Adha. Ministries and federal institutions across the country will be closed from Thursday, June 5 (Dhu al-Hijjah 9) to Sunday, June 8 (Dhu al-Hijjah 12), according to an official statement.

The holiday marks two significant Islamic events: the Day of Arafah and Eid al-Adha. Work for government employees will resume on Monday, June 9.

This break allows public sector workers across the UAE to spend quality time with family and celebrate one of the holiest festivals in Islam.
