UAE Declares Four-Day Eid Al Adha Holiday for Private Sector Employees

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization has officially declared a four-day paid holiday for private sector employees in the UAE in celebration of Eid Al Adha. The holiday will begin on Thursday, June 5 (Dhu al-Hijjah 9) and continue until Sunday, June 8 (Dhu al-Hijjah 12), aligning with the public sector holiday schedule.

Eid Al Adha, one of the most significant Islamic holidays, will be observed on June 6 across all Gulf countries. In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Human Resources and Empowerment has also granted a four-day holiday to private sector workers starting on June 5, coinciding with the Day of Arafah.

Meanwhile, Oman has announced a five-day holiday for both public and private sector employees. As per the royal decree, the holiday will run from Thursday, June 5 to Monday, June 9, with regular work resuming on Tuesday, June 10.

The announcement ensures that employees across the region can celebrate Eid Al Adha with their families and loved ones, highlighting the importance of the festival in the Gulf.
