Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the opening of a new direct entry and exit point to the Al Warqa area, scheduled for early June 2025. The new road connects directly to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and aims to ease traffic congestion and improve travel efficiency in the area.
The most notable feature of this infrastructure project is the significant reduction in travel time—from 20 minutes to just 3.5 minutes—as well as a shortened travel distance, down from 5.7 kilometers to 1.5 kilometers. Once operational, the new road will accommodate up to 5,000 vehicles per hour, boosting overall road capacity.
Additionally, RTA has completed renovations to Street 13 in Al Warqa 1, further improving transportation and safety for commuters. These developments are part of the broader effort by RTA to enhance road connectivity and traffic flow across Dubai.
