The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with Capital Express, has inaugurated a new intercity bus route linking Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The service will operate from Al Qusais Bus Station in Dubai directly to the MBZ Bus Station in the capital, providing a direct and affordable public transport link between the two emirates for a fare of 25 dirhams per passenger. Payment for the journey can be made using either cash or a debit card.
This new route is part of a broader expansion of the RTA's intercity bus network, which now comprises over 250 buses. All of these vehicles are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, enhancing the travel experience for commuters. The announcement follows the recent launch of the E308 service to Sharjah and the reorganization of several other routes in late August to accommodate growing passenger demand.
The continuous development of intercity bus services underscores the RTA's commitment to providing accessible and connected public transportation options for residents traveling between the major emirates, facilitating easier commutes and reducing reliance on private vehicles.
