QATAR EVACUATES STUDENTS AND MORE THAN 200 JOURNALISTS STRANDED IN AFGANISTHAN

Doha: Qatar says evacuations will continue as the situation in Afghanistan continues to escalate. Minister of Foreign Affairs Lulwa Bint Rashid Al Khatir made the announcement on Twitter. He added that in the last 72 hours, about 300 students and more than 200 journalists had been brought to Doha safely. Qatar released the information after CNN chief Clarissa Ward tweeted that tens of thousands of people were still stranded at Kabul airport.
