Riyadh: A drone sent by Houthis targeting Saudi Arabia was shot down by a Saudi air defense team. The Arab League said on Saturday morning that the drone had hit Jizan. The drone, which was loaded with explosives, was defused in the sky.

The Houthis continue to use drones loaded with explosives to target Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have made it clear that Houthi attacks on civilians are a war crime.

Earlier this month, Houthis attacked Abha airport and Jizan airport in southern Saudi Arabia. Four workers were injured in a drone strike by Houthis on Abha International Airport. The plane, which was loaded with explosives, was shot down by Saudi-led coalition forces. Workers were injured when its debris fell inside the airport.

The front windows of the airport terminal were shattered. Earlier this month, 10 people, including passengers, were injured in a Houthi attack on the King Abdul Aziz airport in Jizan. Both drones were intercepted by the Saudi Air Force, but the wreckage crashed into the airport.
