COVID -19 HAVE A STRONGER SECOND WAVE:SAYS A SAUDI DOCTOR

The second wave isreal  and  also strong .It  hit the Middle East in early October, said a prominent SaudiArabian doctor related to the pandemic Covid-19."We do know theCovid-19 virus is mutating in almost every country, including in the MiddleEast,” said Dr Ziad Memish, who is also the Kingdom’s former deputy minister ofpublic health. Dr Memish made his remarks on Friday at The UAE InfectiousDiseases Week conference hosted in Dubai.

"The second waveis very real and we are seeing it in all six World Health Organisationregions," he said."In the EasternMediterranean region, the second wave has started in some countries and thehighest affected in the last few weeks are Iran, Iraq, Morocco and Jordan.”In first two weeks ofOctober, cases jumped by 23 per cent in Morocco and by 46 per cent in Libya, headded..
