SUNDAY PARKING IS NOW FREE IN DUBAI

Dubai: On Sundays, all parking lots in Dubai will be free. On Fridays, though, you must pay for parking. The resolution was issued on Monday by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council.


Parking will also be free on public holidays. The new resolution requires parking to be paid for 14 hours, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

In multi-level parking facilities, however, a parking fee is charged 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking in roadside parking spaces will be limited to four consecutive hours.
