SAUDI ARABIA IMPOSED RS 2 LAKH FINE FOR VISITING HAJJ WITHOUT PERMIT

Riyadh : A fine of about two lakh rupees (10,000 riyals) will be enforced for performing Hajj without a permit (tasreeh), according to a statement issued by Saudi Arabia's public security spokesman Colonel Sami al - Zuwairak. He advised both locals and tourists to follow all Hajj regulations.


He stated that security personnel are stationed at holy sites and other locations, as well as on the roads, to catch violators, and that those caught will be harshly penalised.
